In the blink of an eye, we go from diaper duty to college tours. I can hardly believe my once little babies are now 20, 18 and 16! Parenting: where time flies and coffee is king.
We're all on this wild ride, juggling to raise kind, wise little humans. Some days we're superheroes; others, we're just praying for bedtime.
It's a whirlwind journey that leaves us breathless, proud, and maybe a little amazed we made it this far....
But here's the thing – we didn't do it alone.
It truly takes a village. And we have different ones. Our work "Village", friends "Village", school "Village", family "Village".
My Family "Village"
Families will never be perfect, but don't you just love the way a picture can capture what really is? I'm not sure who first coined the phrase "a picture's worth a thousand words", but they certainly hit the nail on the head with that one. You can't see it, but I can hear...
.... the stories, the advice, the triumphs (and yes, even the mistakes), being bravely shared, that silently helped and continue to help me along this parenting journey. I will never be able to thank my village enough and I truly feel blessed to be a part of yours today.
I've learned to never underestimate the power of a simple parenting tip or an encouraging word, so I hope you'll find the ones I share helpful in some way.
Today’s Simple Tip to Share:
Those oops moments? They’re live-action lessons in how to be human. Embrace the opportunity to teach accountability and forgiveness. Then, just keep showing up. Like a fine wine, great kids (and parents) just get better and better with time.
Note: Despite our mistakes, your kiddos will likely pass on what you did right. You’re leaving a legacy. Investing yourself into these little humans can profoundly shape future generations. That’s pretty powerful stuff.
Got any tried-and-true parenting tips? We’d love to hear them, and I’m sure other readers would too. Your tip might just be the game-changer someone else needs!
No judgement here, just a fun place to share parenting tips and encouragement only please. Remember: it takes a village.
